House Rules

As is common in many games, a set of house rules is developed to make the game better or easier to play. We have come up with a few that might be interesting to others.

1- Combo Rule: A player can combine several actions together into a single operation. For example, several cards can be rotated to reduce the cost of the card that the ambassador will sponsor. This makes for quicker rounds and faster gameplay.

2- Faction Selection: The winner of a Bab Bowl has the first pick of a faction for the next game. The second place finisher comes next followed by the third place finisher. This provides an incentive to win any one game because you can choose your next faction without restriction.

3- Rules Judgments: When a rule or card effect is contested, the official rules and errata are consulted and a judgment is rendered by the nominated judge or by committee. If a conflict involves 2 factions, the 3rd player must act as an impartial judge if a rule is misunderstood or challenged.

If I have forgotten any house rules, or if you have some that you would like to share, please leave a comment. :-)
